Ingredients:
Chicken:
6 boneless/skinless chicken thighs (sub breast meat if you prefer)
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2-3 tbsp Brewhead Craft Seasonings Sweet & Smoky Beer-BQ Rub
Braise:
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
12-oz beer (something not too bold, light beer or pilsner are both perfect)
2 tbsp Brewhead Craft Seasonings Sweet & Smoky Beer-BQ Rub
Instructions:
- Heat grill to high
- Sear chicken for about 3 minutes on both sides
- While the chicken is searing, combine braise ingredients in a grill-safe pan (I used a disposable aluminum pan)
- Reduce heat to medium (depending on your grill, shoot for around 375F)
- Add chicken to pan and tightly seal with foil
- Allow chicken to braise for 1 hour
- Remove chicken from pan and pull with forks or your fingers
- Toss pulled chicken with your favorite sauce or whip up a batch of our Brewhead Carolina Beer-BQ sauce.
