This grilled Salmon Steak recipe incorporates our Sweet & Smoky Beer-BQ Rub in 2 ways for an extra, out of this world flavor kick!
Brewhead Sweet & Smoky Honey Mustard Sauce
Ingredients:
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon Brewhead Craft Seasonings Sweet & Smoky Beer-BQ Rub
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine the honey, Brewhead Craft Seasonings Sweet & Smoky Beer-BQ Rub, and Dijon mustard.
- Whisk until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Brewhead Sweet & Smoky Salmon Steaks
Ingredients:
2 salmon steaks (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons Brewhead Craft Seasonings Sweet & Smoky Beer-BQ Rub
2 tablespoons olive oil
Lemon wedges, for serving
Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Pat the salmon steaks dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, combine the Brewhead Craft Seasonings Sweet & Smoky Beer-BQ Rub and olive oil to create a paste.
- Generously coat both sides of each salmon steak with the rub paste.
- Place the salmon steaks on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the salmon steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Drizzle the grilled salmon steaks with the Sweet & Smoky Honey Mustard and serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the fish.
