A yummy side that goes great with almost any main course!
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup long grain white rice (my go-to is Jasmine)
1 tbsp butter (more to "finish" cooked rice if desired)
1 minced shallot
2 tsp minced garlic (about 2 cloves)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1.5 cups broth (chicken, beef or veggie are all fine)
2 tsp Brewhead Craft Seasonings All-Purpose Rub
Instructions:
- Add rice & butter to a sauce pan over medium-high heat, stirring until rice begins to brown
- Add shallot & garlic and continue to cook until shallot begins to soften
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer
- Cook for 20 minutes then remove from heat and rest for 5 minutes
- Fluff with a fork and serve
